My name is Kimberly, Kim for short and "Kimmie" for those who dare. I am 37 years of age and live on the beautiful Hamilton Mountain in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

I am married and have 2 children ages 12 and 15, and 1 parrot named Zazu!

For as long as I can remember I have been drawing, painting, sewing or crafting of some sort.

Growing up, the machine in our house was a treadle Singer which my mother never used but I adored. My mother preferred to sew by hand and only sewed if she had to. My Father could be caught from time to time hemming his own pants due to long wait periods and impatience. I have 2 sisters that combined with me were amazed that a man could sew!

I am famous to friends and family for saying "no. no.. Don’t buy that, I can make it"

I have been embroidering about 5 years now and thanks to a very dear and patient man in California, I can digitize. He has asked that his name be left out of my "About page".

My husband, Bill is my right hand. He takes care of the website and shopping cart and has always been supportive to this hobby. He can also be found doing laundry and cleaning the kitchen or even making dinner. That is… when he is not at his full time job! What an amazing man!

I have many helpers that make this website possible. Jayne, who takes care of my P.R. and advertising and is also a dear friend, and a tester.

Shelly, who is nocturnal just like me, Shelly tests quality for Embroodles and keeps me company to the wee hours of the morning.

Also Sue, Tina, Darlene and Edie who test the designs before they are for sale on the site.

A big "THANKS" to all of you J I am working on convincing them to allow me to post their pictures.
